Alright so this is essentially phase 2 now.
I've figured out how to make the highlights appear, just by adding another normal light to the picture. Also in this one, I turned down the main light as it was too bright from last time.
Another thing added to this is the shadows on her hair, which appeared this time.
I'm still working with the jeweled part of her head, as it doesn't seem..shiny enough yet, but i'll get it at one point.

Well hope you enjoy the look more than from the last one. This took ONE AND A HALF HOURS for it to render, even in the 503x512 image scale that it is..so..yeah...that was a long time.

How realistic does this look compared to [link]
sorry if making another of the SAME pose is annoying, im just trying to get the lighting correct, but its pretty fricken cool XD

i think i liked the other 1 a little better... perhaps something inbetween?

i think this is a little too dark, and the right of her maw(our left) is a little too bright, it looks like someone is pointing a torch(flashlight to you americans) at her from the left of the image.

and as someone said, it'd look more realistic if you changed the hair XD

Hhhmmm...

Well that extra light gave it a bit more depth, and added some highlights. As for her hair..that is the way it appears in the game. To go back and try to make some hair for her would be hard, as I wouldn't know the style her hair would be if it was like ours...get what I'm saying? XD

IMO, if you were to try the hair, don't worry so much on the style, just try to emulate what is already there, but make it look more realistic. and if that turns out well, then you can go worry about the style XD

and don't worry about the lights, V3 looks better anyway
